History

Six incomplete ships of the 1010t-class, the Le Fier , L'Agile , L'Alsacien , L'Entreprenant , Le Farouche and Le Corse were captured by the German Army in June 1940. Renamed to TA1 - TA6 ("Torpedoboot Ausland"), it was planed to complete all six ships, but material shortages and sabotage by French workers made this impossible. In April 1943, the focus was changed to continue only two ships, TA1 and TA4 but even they were not completed.

TA6 was captured in June 1940 while being about 15% completed. Construction only continued slowly and in July 1943 it was decided to use the parts of the ship to complete the other incomplete ships of this class. The hull was sunk at Nantes in august 1944 where it was raised and scrapped in 1948.
