13.10.1916:   Baden is commissioned
-14.03.1917:   Training and trials, Baden gets Flagship of the Hochseeflotte
06-15.10.1917:   Stationed in Kiel during the landing operations at the Baltic Island to prevent British ships to enter the Baltic Sea
23-24.04.1918:   Unsuccessful raid in the northern North Sea up to the Stavanger area.
07.01.1919:   Interned at Scapa Flow. The Baden was first not listed as one of those ships to be interned at Scapa Flow, therefore it arrived there three weeks after the other ships.
21.06.1919:   Scuttled by own crew, but towed into shallow water
Jul 1919:   Baden is afloat again
16.08.1921:   Used as a target ship, sunk southwest of Portsmouth.
