Z34

Z34 was send to Norway in November 1943, the ship was part of the 4th destroyer division and escorted the battlecruiser Scharnhorst on its final mission . In January 1945 the complete division was ordered to return to Germany. During this transfer, the ship was attacked by the British CL Diadem and Mauritius near the Sogne-Fjord and was hit once. Z34 was then used in the final battles in the Baltic Sea where it was damaged by Russian torpedo boats near Danzig on 15.04.1945. Taken over by the US at the end of 1945. Because of its bad condition, the ship was sunk with gas ammo on 26.03.1946 near Jutland.
