T22 (1943)


Flottentorpedoboot T22 was part of the 4th T-Flottila after being commissioned. Sent to France in October 1942 and mainly used for escorting convoys, blockade breakers and U-Boats in the Gulf of Biscay. Returned to Germany in January 1944 for maintenance and then attached to the 6th Torpedoboot flotilla. Transferred to the Baltic Sea, the ship was sunk after a German mine hit on 18.08.1944 in the Narwa Bay at 59°42'N,27°44'E.
