T26 (1943)


Flottentorpedoboot T26 was part of the 4th T-Flottila after being commissioned. Sent to France in August 1943 and mainly used for escorting convoys, blockade breakers and U-Boats in the Gulf of Biscay. While trying to escort the blockade breaker Alsterufer , T26 was sunk on 28.12.1943 in the Gulf of Biscay during a battle with British cruisers Glasgow and Enterprise
