02.10.1894:   Hagen is commissioned.
-28.11.1894:   Training and trials.
29.06.1895:   Send to Marokko.
10.07.1895:   Arrival at Tanger.
19.08.1895:   Hagen returns to Wilhelmshaven.
-September 1896:   Fleet services as harbor guard ship in Kiel and part of the Reconnaissance forces.
29.09.1898:   Decommissioned.
May 1899:   Reconstruction, the ship is cut into two pieces and a new middle part is inserted.
02.10.1900:   Training and trials.
12.12.1900:   Recommissioned.
31.01.1901:   Send to the Isle of Wright to participate at the memorial for Queen Victoria.
Feb 1902 - Jul 1903:   Fleet services.
08-30.07.1903:   Repairs in Danzig.
17.09.1903:   Decommissioned.
22.07-15.09.1909:   Recommissioned for fleet exercises, decommissioned after that.
12.08.1914:   At the outbreak of World War I, the Hagen is attached to the VI. Squadron.
-August 1915:   Assigned to patrol duty in the North Sea.
-01.09.1915:   Decommissioned.
June 1916 - 1919:   Used as a floating barrack.
1919:   Sold to the Netherlands and scrapped there.
