01.07.1916:  Bremse is commissioned.
- mid October 1916:  Training and trials.
October 1916:  Attached to the II. reconnaissance group.
01.12.1916:  Attached to the IV. reconnaissance group.
December 1916:  Raid to the Great Fischer-Bank.
10.01.1917: 

Bremse is part of the forces, laying a mine field between Norderney and Helgoland.

05.09.1917:  Bremse assists the Airship L 44 which is attacked by British aircraft with its anti-aircraft guns.
16-18.10.1917:  Operation against allied merchant ships between Scotland and Norway together with the Bremse . In a one hour battle, one destroyer and 8 merchants are sunk another destroyer is damaged.
March 1918:  Another unsuccessful raid against allied shipping in the North Sea.
April 1918:  Participation in the fleet operation off Norway.
November 1918:  Interned at Scapa Flow.
21.06.1919:  Scuttled with the rest of the Hochseeflotte, sunk at 14:30.
1929:  Wreck raised and scrapped.
