28.03.1918:  Dresden II is commissioned as the last major warship of the Hochseeflotte.
- August 1918:  Trials and training. After that, the ship is attached to the 2nd reconnaissance group.
August 1918:  While covering a mine operation in the North Sea, the ship is hit by a torpedo and has to return to Germany.
13.12.1918:  Sent to Scapa Flow.
21.06.1919:  Scuttled at Scapa Flow.
