History

The French destroyer L'Opiniâtre was captured in Bordeaux shipyard in June 1940. Renamed to ZF2 , it was planned to complete the ships with German armament, but caused by material shortages and sabotage, construction only continued very slowly. In July 1943, construction was stopped and the incomplete ship was scrapped.
