Those photos of U-995 were taken in Laboe in September 2000. This is the only remaining Type VII U-Boat in Germany. It is located on the beach near the German Naval Memorial (Marineehrenmahl). U-995 was used by the Norwegian Navy after World War 2 as Kaura and was given back to Germany as a museum ship when it was decommissioned.
